FrameCut

FrameCut (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a video cutting and trimming tool for Android. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect.

The short version: FrameCut does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There is no account, no login, and no server the app talks to. Your videos never leave your device.

What FrameCut does NOT do

  • No account or login of any kind
  • No advertising, and no ad-tracking SDKs
  • No analytics or behavioral tracking
  • No collection of your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information
  • Your video files are never uploaded anywhere — all cutting, trimming, and exporting happens entirely on your device

What is stored, and where

FrameCut stores a small amount of information locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere:

  • Your current project — which video you’re editing, your cut points, and any saved clips — so the app can pick up where you left off if closed. This stays on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
  • An anonymous usage counter — a simple count of how many times you’ve opened the app, used only to decide when to show Android’s built-in “rate this app” prompt after a handful of uses. This number never leaves your device and isn’t linked to you in any way.

Exported videos

When you save a video, FrameCut uses Android’s standard system file picker, so you choose exactly where the file goes (e.g. your Downloads folder or Google Drive, if you pick that). FrameCut itself never uploads the file anywhere.

In-app purchases

FrameCut offers an optional one-time “premium” purchase, processed entirely through Google Play’s billing system. FrameCut does not see or store your payment details — that’s handled by Google. Google’s own privacy policy governs that transaction: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Crash reporting

FrameCut uses Firebase Crashlytics to help us catch and fix bugs. If the app crashes or behaves unexpectedly, Crashlytics automatically sends a report containing:

  • A crash log / stack trace (what the app was doing when it failed)
  • Your device model and Android version
  • The app version you were using
  • A random, anonymous installation identifier (not linked to your name, email, or any account — FrameCut doesn’t have accounts)

This is purely technical diagnostic information used to fix bugs. We do not use Crashlytics for advertising, analytics, or tracking your activity in the app — only crash reporting is enabled, nothing else.

Third-party services

FrameCut uses the following Google-provided services, each governed by Google’s own privacy policy:

  • Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting, see above
  • Google Play Billing — to process the optional premium purchase
  • Google Play In-App Review API — to show Google’s native “rate this app” dialog; FrameCut only requests this, Google controls if/when it actually appears, and Google does not tell FrameCut whether you rated it

Children’s privacy

FrameCut is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, regardless of age — because it doesn’t collect personal information from anyone at all.

AirPDF Privacy Policy

AirPDF is a PDF reader and editor for Android. This page explains what data AirPDF collects and how it’s used. In short: almost nothing, and your documents never leave your device.

Your PDF files

AirPDF processes your PDF files entirely on your device. Viewing, searching, filling out forms, masking/redacting content, and reorganizing pages all happen locally, using your device’s own processing power. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never sent to us, and never seen by anyone but you.

AirPDF only opens files you explicitly choose, using Android’s own file picker. AirPDF does not request broad access to your device’s storage and cannot browse your files on its own.

Crash reports

AirPDF uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive automatic reports if the app crashes, so problems can be found and fixed. A crash report can include technical details like:

  • What part of the app was running when it crashed, and the error itself
  • Basic device information (device model, Android version)
  • A randomly generated installation identifier, used only to group reports from the same install of the app together – this is not tied to your name, email, or any other personal information

Crash reports never include the contents of your PDF files, your file names, or anything else about what you were working on.

No accounts, no analytics, no ads

AirPDF does not require an account or login. AirPDF does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising service, does not track how you use the app, and does not share, sell, or otherwise provide your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Buy Premium

AirPDF offers an optional, one-time “Buy Premium” purchase. This is a way to support development – it does not unlock any additional features. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play’s own billing system; AirPDF does not receive or store your payment information. Google’s handling of purchase data is governed by Google Play’s own privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

AirPDF is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
